Huron Capital launches specialty chemicals acquisition platform

Private Equity firm Huron Capital Partners (Detroit) has cofounded Valentus Specialty Chemicals, an acquisition platform, Huron says. The company is joining forces with industry veteran Ray Chlodney in the project.  Through Valentus, Huron Capital plans to invest in US specialty coatings producers to build a company serving a variety of end markets and geographies.
