Sasol Olefins & Surfactants sells Dubai unit to Anichem

Sasol Olefins & Surfactants (Sasol O&S; Hamburg), a subsidiary of Sasol, has sold its entire share of Sasol Gulf (Dubai) to Anichem (Dubai), Sasol announced today. The agreement became effective on 31 March. Anichem, a member of Al Nahda International Group (Dubai), will retain the existing facilities of Sasol Gulf as well as all employees. No financial details were disclosed. Sasol Gulf, an immediate subsidiary of Sasol Italy (Milan), part of Sasol O&S, produces 15,000 m.t./year of linear alkylbenzene sulfonate at a facility in Dubai.
