Arkema buys majority in French structural adhesives manufacturer

Arkema has acquired a majority stake in AEC Polymers (Bordeaux, France), a manufacturer of structural adhesives, Arkema announced today. The acquisition is in line with Arkema’s strategy to expand in the specialty chemicals domain, in particular composites and advanced materials. No financial details were disclosed. AEC Polymers will join Arkema's new products and new technologies incubator, the company says.
