People & Business :: M&A Natural Resource Partners buys stake in OCI Wyoming soda ash9:17 AM MST | January 25, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz Natural Resource Partners (NRP; Houston) has acquired a 49% stake in natural soda ash producer OCI Wyoming, and 20% of the common shares and all of the preferred shares of OCI Wyoming from subsidiaries of Anadarko Petroleum (The Woodlands, TX). NRP says it paid $292.5 million for the interests after normal closing adjustments to the purchase price of $310.0 million. The agreement also contains an earn-out provision, which would require NRP to pay Anadarko up to $50.0 million on a net present value basis over a 3-year period if OCI Wyoming achieves specified...
