U.K. Allocates $97 Million to CCS in Emerging Markets

The U.K. government plans to invest £60 million ($97 million) to support the development of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies in emerging markets. The move follows a recommendation by the Carbon Capture Use and Storage (CCUS) Action Group, a group comprised of representatives from government and industry, which had recommended that $200 million should be allocated to assist with the introduction of CCS in developing countries.
