Russian firm plans oleochemicals plant in Alabuga SEZ

Russian joint stock company Gammachim (Moscow), a trader in oils, fats, and detergents, plans to build a higher fatty alcohols plant in the special economic zone (SEZ) of Alabuga, local reports say. Alabuga is the largest industrial SEZ in Russia and is 200 kilometers from Kazan, Tatarstan Republic, Russia. Gammachim president Evgenii Goncharenko made the proposal to Tatneftekhiminvest Holding, which oversees investments in the SEZ.
