Rhodia's Derian Outlines Latest Plans for Suschem (with video)

Paul-Joel Derian, group v.p./R&D at Rhodia recently has become chairman of the Board for The European Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry (SusChem), a joint industry and European Commission initiative. Derian sets out his agenda for SusChem during his term of office, including goals relating to enhancing the development of advanced materials, white biotechnology, and efficient manufacturing. Derian says he want to accelerate the adoption of innovation along the value chain, and that there is a need for wider adoption of life cycle assessments (LCA)...
