Reach: ECHA Issues Guidance to Reduce Extent of Animal Testing

Under pressure to reduce the number of animal tests that will be required under the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has published new guidelines for chemical firms on animal testing.
