People & Business :: Green Issues Four Die in Chemical Plant Fire in China3:28 AM MST | November 22, 2010 | Alex Scott An explosion and fire on Saturday evening at a chemical manufacturing complex at Yushe Chemical Industry Co’s site in Yushe, Shanxi Province have killed four workers, says Xinhua, China’s official news agency. Two further workers are also reportedly seriously injured. A further 37 workers were discharged from hospital yesterday, reports say. A production plant, which has been gutted by the fire, produced a range of chemicals including food additives and plastics additives, reports say.
