EPA to Delay Biomass GHG Rules

U.S. EPA announced today that it will delay greenhouse gas (GHG) permitting requirements for industries that use biomass a feedstock until 2014. The agency is soliciting input from the scientific community, industry, and other stakeholders to determine how to treat biomass for Clean Air Act (CAA) permitting purposes.
