People & Business :: Green Issues EPA Releases GHG Control Technology Guidelines12:05 PM MST | November 11, 2010 | Vincent Valk U.S. EPA yesterday released guidelines best available control technology (BACT) for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The guidelines set out that BACT for GHGs will be determined on a case-by-case basis for each facility, based on a listing of possible control technologies, and environmental, economic and cost considerations. The guidelines are in keeping with BACT procedures for other pollutants regulated under the Clean Air Act (CAA).
