EPA Finalizes GHG Reporting Extension

U.S. EPA has finalized a previously announced extension to the deadline for the greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting rule. The new deadline is September 30, 2011. The deadline has been extended to allow the agency extra time to test an online reporting system, called e-GGRT, that reporting entities will use to submit data, EPA says. The extension does not apply to annual reporting deadlines past 2011, which will remain March 31. Reporting entities will need to register with EPA's online reporting system by August 1.
