People & Business :: Green Issues EPA Extends Deadline for GHG Emissions Input Reporting2:58 PM MDT | September 15, 2011 | Vincent Valk U.S. EPA has extended the deadline for reporting of inputs to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions equations for 2010 and 2011 until March 2013, and 2012 and 2013 until March 2015, the agency says. Industry considers many of the inputs confidential business information (CBI), and the delay is meant to give EPA more time to evaluate those claims for each input. The difference in deadlines accounts for the variety of inputs, some of which EPA is further along in evaluating than others, the agency says.
