Dow's GHG Emissions Down 6% for 2008

Dow's direct greenhouse gas (GHG) emission declined by 6% from 2007 to 2008, according to the company's 2008 global reporting initiative (GRI) report. In the report, Dow cited "continuing efforts in energy reductions as well as lower operating rates during 2008" as reasons for the decrease. The company's direct GHG emissions rose by 5% from 2006 to 2007.
