Cefic Unveils New Round of Long-range Research Projects

Cefic has disclosed that it will fund six new research projects to further scientific understanding about the environmental and human health impact of chemicals. The projects are part of Cefic’s Long-range Research Initiative (LRI) which has been running for more than 10 years at a cost of about €4 million ($5.5 million)/year.   The newly announced projects, detailed recently at LRI’s annual workshop in Brussels, will be awarded to research institutes within the coming days.
