BASF Shelves ‘Green’ PDO Program

BASF has shelved plans to commercialize a newly developed process to produce 1,2 propanediol (PDO) using glycerol feedstock, a by-product of biodiesel manufacture, CW has learned (CW, Nov. 7, 2007, p. 13).
