Air Products' plant uses excess gas from ExxonMobil's Botlek refinery to produce hydrogen, and it delivers steam as well as hydrogen to the refinery, the companies say. The integration of ExxonMobil's refinery with Air Products' hydrogen plant is expected to improve energy efficiency by 15% as well as reduce related CO2 emissions by 200,000 m.t./year, the companies say.
