German Firm Withdraws Offer to Dispose of Contaminated Soil from Bhopal

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ; Bonn, Germany), a company owned by the federal government of Germany and that operates in many fields internationally, says it has withdrawn its offer to dispose of 350 m.t. of soil contaminated with pesticides from Bhopal, India.
