Williams to Buy Natural Gas Gathering Subsidiary of Caiman Energy

Williams Partners says it will acquire Caiman Energy's (Dallas, TX) natural gas-gathering subsidiary Caiman Eastern Midstream for about $2.5 billion. The acquisition will provide Williams Partners with a significant footprint and growth potential in the natural gas liquids (NGL)-rich portion of the Marcellus Shale.
