U.S. Lithium Battery Alliance Formed

Fourteen U.S. battery and advanced materials companies, including 3M and FMC, have formed an alliance with Argonne National Laboratory (Chicago) for the mass-production of lithium-ion batteries for vehicles, according to a Reuters report.
