Terra Rejects CF Industries' $2.1-Billion Takeover Bid

Terra Industries says its board of directors has rejected the $2.1-billion unsolicited bid from CF Industries (Deerfield, Il), saying it “substantially undervalues Terra on an absolute basis and relative to your company.”  CF Industries made the bid on January 16, saying the deal would have created a global fertilizer industry leader.
