Shell Seeks to Boost Competitiveness in Chemicals Through Advantaged Feedstock

Shell Chemicals’ main strategy is to be “a highly profitable hydrocarbon upgrader,” Ben van Beurden, executive v.p./chemicals at Royal Dutch Shell says. “The most important piece of the strategy, which we have to get right, must be advantaged feedstock that we can monetize for competitive advantage and profitability,” he adds.
