Report: Chevron authorized to place second shale gas exploration well in Romania

Chevron has obtained authorization to place a second shale gas exploration well at Puiesti in Vaslui County, northeastern Romania, according to a report from Agerpres, Romania's news agency, that quotes Tom Holst, manager of Chevron Romania. The Agency for Environmental Protection  (Bucharest) issued a new enviromental agreement for Chevron earlier this year covering exploration of shale gas in a perimeter at Puiesti, the report adds.
