Proposed Fracking Rules Due Out by Early Next Year

The U.S. Department of the Interior says it expects to propose in the next several months rules governing hydraulic fracturing, or fracking. The proposal, expected in the next several months, will include regulations governing the disclosure of chemicals used in the process and will apply to drillers on land leased from the federal government.
