People & Business :: Energy and Feedstocks Petrobras Plans $5-Billion Investment in Petrochemicals through 201612:19 PM MDT | June 18, 2012 | Kara Sissell Brazil’s state oil company Petrobras (São Paulo) has released its 2012-2016 business plan, targeting capital investments of $236.5 billion for the next five years, up 5.3% from the 2006-2011 plan. Petrobras plans to spend $5 billion in petrochemicals through 2016, compared with $3.8 billion in the 2006-2011 plan.
