Petrobras, PetroChina to Study Joint Ethanol Projects in Brazil

Brazil’s state oil company Petrobras (Rio de Janeiro) says its biofuels subsidiary has signed a six-month memorandum of understanding with PetroChina to study possible collaboration on developing ethanol projects in Brazil. The two companies will also consider agreements to export ethanol from Brazil to China.
