Petrobras Buys Comperj Utilities Firm for $10.8 Million

Petrobras says it has purchased an 80% stake in Companhia de Desenvolvimento de Plantas Utilidades (CPDU) for R$20 million ($10.8 million). CPDU will provide steam power, water and wastewater treatment for the Rio de Janeiro Petrochemicals Project (Comperj; Itaboraí) planned for startup in the next several years.
