Materials Sector CO2 Disclosure Better Than Average

Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions disclosure practices and performance in the materials sector, including chemicals, are generally better than the average of Global 500 and S&P 500 companies, according to 2009 data released this week by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP; London). The materials sector, as defined by CDP, is comprised mostly of mining, metals and chemicals companies.
