People & Business :: Energy and Feedstocks Materials Sector CO2 Disclosure Better Than Average3:37 PM MDT | September 21, 2010 | Vincent Valk Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions disclosure practices and performance in the materials sector, including chemicals, are generally better than the average of Global 500 and S&P 500 companies, according to 2009 data released this week by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP; London). The materials sector, as defined by CDP, is comprised mostly of mining, metals and chemicals companies.
