Iogen patents process for cellulosic biofuel from biogas

Iogen (Ottawa) says it has developed and patented a method to make drop-in cellulosic biofuels from biogas using existing refinery assets and production operations. The company is consulting with the US EPA and California Air Resources Board (Sacramento) to gain pathway approval for cellulosic Renewable Identification Numbers (RIN) and low carbon fuel standard (LCFS) credit generation.
