Ineos clarifies intentions for Grangemouth petchem complex

Ineos has issued a statement following an interview its chairman Jim Ratcliffe gave to the Financial Times and was published on 6 September, including comments on the future of Ineos's petrochemical complex at Grangemouth, UK. The statement is as follows: "Ineos has made it clear for some time that the Grangemouth chemicals business is approaching a crossroads. The company wishes to deliver a secure future for the site that will include new investment and cost restructuring, in order to turn it into a globally competitive manufacturer.
