Halliburton forms fracking JV in China

Halliburton says it has agreed to form a fracking and production-enhancement services joint venture with Petrotech Xinjiang Engineering, a subsidiary of SPT Energy Group (Beijing). The new company, Xinjiang HDTD Oilfield Services, will provide fracture stimulation services, including design and analysis, data acquisition, and pumping and chemical services in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China.
