Forecast: U.S. Carbon Price to Be Near Floor Through 2020

Should a cap-and-trade scheme pass the U.S. Congress, the price of carbon is forecast remain near the legislative floor of $15/ton through 2020, Veronique Bugnion, managing director/analytics and research for Point Carbon (Oslo) told attendees at a carbon trading panel discussion in New York last night.
