Dow signs agreement with YPF to develop shale gas in Argentina

Dow Chemical has signed a formal agreement with YPF to provide $120 million in project financing for development of shale gas in the El Orejano block in Argentina’s Neuquén Province. The partnership will enable development of nonconventional gas resources in Argentina, expanding access to a secure, long-term supply of key raw material feedstocks in the Mercosur region, Dow says.
