Borealis to import ethane from the US to feed ethylene plant in Sweden

Borealis announced today that it has signed a 10-year agreement with Antero Resources (Denver, CO) to supply ethane from the United States for its flexible steam cracker at Stenungsund, Sweden. The plan also includes a shipping agreement with Navigator Holdings and a related multi-million euro investment to upgrade the cracker and construct an ethane storage tank.
