Blackstone and Innospec submit rival bid for TPC Group (update)

Innsopec and private equity firm Blackstone Capital Partners (New York) have submitted a $44-46/share bid for TPC Group, according to the company. The bid is higher than the $40/share buyout agreed to with SK Capital (New York) and First Reserve (Houston) in late August.
