BP receives environmental permit for LNG expansion project in Indonesia

BP announced today that the government of Indonesia, through the Ministry of Environment (Jakarta), has approved the Tangguh liquefied natural gas (NGL) expansion project and issued an environmental permit. Tangguh LNG, located at Teluk Bintuni, Papua Barat Province, is the third-largest LNG supply facility in Indonesia and the first fully combined upstream and downstream LNG operation in the country.
