BP, Caterpillar, and ConocoPhillips Leave USCAP

BP, Caterpillar and ConocoPhillips say they will not renew their memberships in the U.S. Climate Action Partnership (USCAP; Washington), leaving Shell as the sole oil major left in the group. USCAP, a coalition of environmental groups and companies, supports legislation mandating a cap-and-trade program for limiting U.S. greenhouse gas emissions.
