BDI-BioEnergy to build Croatia's first multi-feedstock biodiesel plant

BDI-BioEnergy International (Graz, Austria) signed a deal with Biom d.o.o (Zagreb) for construction of Croatia's first multi-feedstock biodiesel plant, BDi announced. The contract is valued at about €20 million ($27.1 million). Total capacity of the plant will approximately be 100,000 m.t./year and production is expected by the end of 2014.  "The installed multi-feedstock biodDiesel technology will not  only make an important contribution to environmental protection in the area of transport, but also helps to safely dispose problematic waste...
