Argentina protests ban on access to Spain's biodiesel market

The government of Argentina has protested Spain's decision to exclude Argentinian producers of biodiesel from accessing the Spanish market, today said Héctor Timerman, Argentina's foreign minister. The Industry, Energy, and Tourism Ministry (Madrid) published, in the country's official journal, a list of biodiesel providers that will be able to sell product in the Spanish market. The list sets an overall 5.5-million m.t./year limit for 2014–15. The list allocates quotas to 42 companies, of which 27 are Spanish, 5 German, 5 Italian, 2 British, 1...
