Survey: US 'fiscal cliff' a concern for industry execs

A survey of chemical industry executives by KPMG (New York), a consultancy, has found that the US “fiscal cliff” is a key concern going into the end of the year. However, executives remain hopeful about the potential of shale gas. The survey found that 41% of chemical industry leaders cited the “fiscal cliff” of spending cuts and tax increases as a key macroeconomic concern.   Other macroeconomic concerns were cited in the survey, as well.
