UOP Forms JV for Bio-Based Fuels

Honeywell subsidiary UOP says it has agreed to form a joint venture with Ensyn Technologies (Wilmington, DE) to develop and market technology that converts second-generation biomass into oil for power generation, and heating and transportation fuels. Financial terms were not disclosed.
