People & Business :: Emerging Companies Tessenderlo Reshaped2:31 PM MST | January 13, 2009 Tessenderlo Group (Brussels) says it has combined its phosphate activities into a newly created subsidiary, named Aliphos, effective January 1. Aliphos is one of four product clusters within Tessenderlo’s chemical business group. The others are sulfates and fertilizers, organic chlorine derivatives, and chlor-alkali and polyvinyl chloride. Separately, Tessenderlo plans to restructure its Wymar International (Oeselgem, Belgium) plastics profiles business with the possible loss of 46 jobs at Oeselgem, 27% of the business’s total.
