People & Business :: Emerging Companies Sun Forms Technology Firm9:51 AM MDT | May 8, 2009 DIC’s Sun Chemical says it has partnered with the University of Cincinnati’s Novel Device Laboratory (Cincinnati) to develop a technology that improves the color range of reflective displays. Sun and Novel have formed Gamma Dynamics, a new company to commercialize the technology, called Electrofluidic Display (EFD). The deal calls for Sun to be the sole supplier of new pigmented fluids used in the EFD devices, and Novel to provide EFD pixel architecture.
