People & Business :: Emerging Companies Showa Denko to Establish High-Purity Ammonia JV in China10:08 AM MST | December 8, 2008 | Deepti Ramesh Showa Denko says it plans to establish a joint venture company at Quzhou, China to produce high-purity ammonia for the electronics industry. Showa Denko will have a 51% stake in the jv, Zhejiang Quzhou Juhua Showa Electronic Chemical Materials. Chemical firms Zhejiang Juhua (Quzhou) and its affiliate Zhejiang Jinju Chemical (Quzhou) will hold 20% and 29% stakes, respectively, in the jv, Showa Denko says. The new company will soon begin construction of a 500-m.t./year, high-purity ammonia plant that is expected to start up in June 2009, Showa Denko says. Zhejiang...
