PetroAlgae, CRI Ink Biofuel Collaboration Deal

PetroAlgae, a Melbourne-based biomass production firm, says it has signed an agreement with CRO Catalyst Company to optimize CRO’s hydropyrolysis and hydroconversion technology the production of transportation fuel from PetroAlgae’s micro-crop residues. PetroAlgae says its technology employs indigenous, aquatic micro-organisms suitable to local climates and designed to enable its licensees to produce a high-value protein product and residual biomass.
