People & Business :: Emerging Companies Linde, Sinopec Form JV12:43 PM MDT | April 10, 2009 Linde says its Linde Gas (Hong Kong) subsidiary will establish a joint venture by June with Sinopec Sichuan Vinylon Works (SVW; Chongqing, China), a Sinopec subsidiary, to build and operate industrial gases plants at SVW’s chemical complex at Chongqing. The jv will involve an initial investment of about €50 million ($67 million). The first project will be an air separation plant with capacity for 1,500 m.t./day of oxygen to supply SVW’s new 300,000-m.t./year vinyl acetate monomer plant, due for start up by...
