LanzaTech Raises $55.8 Million in Third Funding Round

LanzaTech (Auckland, New Zealand), a renewable chemicals and fuels firm, has raised $55.8 million in a third, or Series C, funding round, including an investment from the venture arm of Petronas, Malaysia’s national oil company. The funding round was led by Malaysian Life Sciences Capital Fund (Kuala Lumpur), a venture fund co-owned by the Malaysian government and Burrill & Company (San Francisco), a merchant bank.
