LanzaTech, Mitsui Sign MoU

Start-up LanzaTech (Auckland, New Zealand) says Mitsui Global Strategic Studies, a Mitsui & Co (Tokyo) subsidiary, will look for opportunities to apply LanzaTech gas-fermentation technology. LanzaTech uses non-food renewable resources to produce fuel-grade ethanol and key chemical building blocks used to make polymers, plastics, and hydrocarbon fuels including drop-in jet fuel.
