Kuraray India Begins Operation; Expects Sales of $100 Million by 2011

Kuraray India (New Delhi), a subsidiary of Kuraray which was established in September 2008, tells CW it has begun sale of Kuraray products in the Indian market since April 2009 and it expects to achieve sales of $42 million in the current fiscal year and about $100 million by 2011. Kuraray plans to compete in the specialty chemical market in India, which is worth about $5 billion.
