People & Business :: Emerging Companies Ineos to Combine Olefins and Polymers Businesses in Europe11:11 AM MST | November 18, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Ineos says that on December 1 it will combine its European olefins and polymers businesses, currently operating separately under separate CEOs, to create a combined business to be known as Ineos Olefins & Polymers Europe. The combined operation will be the largest business within Ineos “with the scale and diversity necessary to compete in the current turbulent economic climate,” the company says. It will employ about 3,600 across 10 sites and have revenues of about €9 billion ($11.5 billion). Tom Crotty will be CEO of the combined business...
